To craft the appropriate carrier for a message it’s necessary to forge the style and the atmosphere, which can be brought forth through collection boards of existing visual components
At this stage it’s time to start crafting visual solutions that optimally embody what has previously been established
Finally it’s a matter of perfecting the most suitable solution. And ultimately expand it to all requested byproducts
You might not have realized, but I am a self taught graphic designer. And I work under the storefront « Kærn Design ». I have a bachelor degree in Art History and Japanese Civilisation. For a long time I have been enthusiastic about the universe of images. This firstly lead me to painting and drawing (which I still practice actively). But eventually I started to feel the need to put my artistic visual competences to a more practical and concrete use. So I’ve started my journey as a graphic designer and here I am today.
My love for silence, open spaces, and my artlessness often emerges in my graphic practice. More than anything I am passionated. So not only do I believe learning is part of my professional responsibility but I also will do so to ensure I can meet any requirements of the projects I work on.

Logo design is my favorite practice. It is where all my competences meet. As much from the visual point as from the intellectual one. Analyzing and exploring a given project, then structuring it and finally translating it into an image is profoundly satisfying for me as an artist. When it comes to logo design I’m committed to creating unique concepts that simply express the complexity of a given project
It is probably my enthusiasm for modern technologies that drew me to web design. I love the versatility and the fluidity of the web medium. Clarity and uniqueness are for me the cornerstone in the complexity of web design
I have always been someone who loves to build things. So I have a very practical mind. In crafting a packaging I try to creatively ally esthetics and practicality
As a draftsman the transfer of an image from the imagination to material paper has always fascinated me. Readability and the establishment of coherent visual systems are my main concern when it comes to edition.
